Figured out how this works, not as impressive anymore. :( After the 4th step you end up with a multiple of 50 however it will end in ‘50 because adding 5 makes the number you are multiplying 50 by odd and you can’t multiply 50 by an odd number and get say, 100. You will always get a number ending in ‘50. You then add this number to another ending in ‘62, this will always give you a number ending in ‘12 which is the last two numbers of the current year (2012), when you subtract the last two digits of your birthdate (mine is ‘95) you will always get your age, no matter what the original number is that you choose.
